Denis Popov

Online trainer, nutritionist and personal health analyst

I help entrepreneurs, executives, and busy professionals manage their physical resources by structuring training, nutrition, and recovery in a way that works in real life - with demanding workloads, frequent travel, and busy schedules.

The fitness and health industry is full of one-size-fits-all programs, restrictive diets, and conflicting advice. My approach is different: I look at the body as one interconnected system, combining sports physiology, biomechanics, nutrition science, nutritional biochemistry, and applied data analysis.

My goal is not to make your life more complicated with additional rules, but to identify the factors that truly matter and turn complex information into practical actions you can apply every day.

Health as a manageable system

I do not believe in universal programs designed “for everyone.” Physical condition, energy levels, nutrition, sleep quality, recovery, and workload constantly affect one another, which is why addressing them separately is not always effective.

I do not expect a person to completely restructure their life around training or an ideal routine. Instead, I adapt the system to their goals, fitness level, work schedule, travel, and real-life circumstances.

My work is based on several core principles:
Personalization. I do not use the same solutions for different people. Every recommendation is built around the individual’s specific goals, starting point, and lifestyle.
Practicality. Every solution has to work outside of theory. If it cannot realistically be applied within a normal work schedule, while traveling, or in everyday life, it needs to be adjusted.
Analysis. I do not focus on a single metric. I look at the overall dynamics and the relationship between nutrition, activity, training, and recovery.
Gradual Progress. There is no need to change everything at once. I first identify the factors that will have the greatest impact in your specific situation.
Understanding. It is important to me that you understand the reasoning behind the recommendations and, over time, become more confident in managing your own training, nutrition, and recovery.

Sports experience and professional background

Sport has been part of my life since 2007. Over the years, I have progressed from local competitions and regional tournaments to competing internationally at the European Powerlifting Cup.

This experience has given me a practical understanding of movement biomechanics, load management, progression, and recovery - not only from a theoretical perspective, but through many years of competitive experience.

  • Master of Sport in AWPC/WPC Powerlifting.
  • Master of Sport in AWPC/WPC Bench Press.
  • Silver medalist at the AWPC Open Europe Cup in the up-to-110 kg weight category, with a total of 675 kg.
  • Two-time Overall Champion of the Volga Federal District in AWPC Powerlifting.
  • Four-time winner of powerlifting competitions in the Nizhny Novgorod Region.
  • Winner of the Volga Federal District Open Championship “December Heat,” with a 655 kg powerlifting total: 220 kg squat, 185 kg bench press, and 250 kg deadlift.

However, sports experience alone is not enough to work professionally with other people. That is why I complement my practical experience with specialized education and continue to develop my academic knowledge.

In addition, I systematically deepen my knowledge of biochemistry and molecular biology to better understand the mechanisms behind energy metabolism, recovery, and the body’s adaptation to physical stress.

At the same time, I always remain within the boundaries of my professional expertise. My work is not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment. If a situation requires evaluation by a physician, I will point this out and recommend consulting an appropriate medical specialist.

How I can help you

Personal online training

Personal nutrition

Personal health analyst

I build an individual training process around your goals, fitness level, schedule, and available conditions. Your program can be adapted for training at home, in a fitness club, while traveling, or with limited equipment. I review your exercise technique through video, plan your training load, monitor your progress, and adjust the program as you develop.

I help you build a clear and sustainable nutrition system without extreme diets, constant restrictions, or the need to endlessly count every single food item. Your nutrition is adapted to your goals, habits, work schedule, and country of residence. For clients living abroad, I also take into account locally available foods, supermarkets, restaurants, and everyday eating habits.

This is the most comprehensive format of my work, designed for entrepreneurs, executives, and professionals with demanding workloads. I combine information about your nutrition, training, sleep, activity, recovery, work schedule, wearable devices, and available laboratory data into one personalized strategy. My role is to identify the main limiting factors, establish priorities, and regularly adjust the system as your workload, condition, and goals change.

My goal is to make the system simpler

ou do not need to become an expert in training, nutrition, recovery, supplements, and data analysis yourself.

A good system should not demand even more of your attention. It should do the opposite - free it up.

You continue focusing on your work, business, family, travel, and personal priorities. I take care of the professional side: analyzing the information, identifying priorities, developing recommendations, and adjusting them whenever necessary.

If you are not yet sure which format is right for you, tell me about your goals, lifestyle, and the main challenges you are facing. I will analyze your situation and help you determine the best place to start.
